How I look after your details

Lou Lou Marketing is run by one person, Moni. This page says what happens to anything you give me here, in plain words.

When you ask for a free preview

The form (and the box in the corner) asks for your name, your business name and your email, and lets you add a phone number, your town, your website or Google listing and a note. I use them only to build your preview, send it to you and talk with you about it. You aren't added to any newsletter, and nothing else is sent.

The question box

You don't need to give any details to ask a question. To write each answer, your question and the last few questions and answers of your conversation are sent to Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude AI model; under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use them to train its models. I keep the questions and answers, with the page they were asked on, so I can see what businesses want to know and make the answers better. They aren't linked to you unless you ask for a preview inside the box, and questions from people who never ask for one are deleted after about 13 months. So that one connection can't use up the box for everyone, I count how many questions come from each internet address in a day; the address is scrambled with a secret code and the date first, so it can't be turned back into the address. While your browser tab is open it remembers the conversation; closing the tab forgets it.

Visits

I count visits myself, without cookies and without any outside analytics company: the page, the day, the kind of device and the link that sent you. Your internet address is mixed with a random code that is deleted the next day, so I can't see it or follow anyone from one day to the next.

Who else handles your details

Your details are never sold.

Your choices

Ask me at any time to see, correct or delete what I hold about you: hello@louloumarketing.com. I'll do it and tell you when it's done.
